The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority has signed a cooperation agreement with the Advanced Technology Research Council, aimed at fostering collaboration in the fields of artificial intelligence, developing integrated strategies to cultivate specialized national talent, The partnership is designed to support the advancement and sustainability of civil protection and public safety systems in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Brigadier General Salem Abdullah bin Barak Al Dhaheri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and His Excellency Shahab Issa Abu Shahab, Director General of the Advanced Technology Research Council, as part of a shared commitment to adopting intelligent and sustainable solutions that enhance the efficiency and resilience of civil defense operations.
H.E. Brigadier General Al Dhaheri emphasized that this partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing safety and prevention tools and technologies. He noted that the integration of AI technologies into civil defence operations reflects the Authority’s commitment to keeping pace with global advancements and leveraging innovation to enhance community safety and readiness in the face of emerging challenges.
